"Be still
and know that I am God."
Would you consider giving Stillness
a chapter in your life story? Jesus did.
“As often as possible Jesus withdrew to
out-of-the-way places for prayer.”
- LUKE 5:16
During this difficult season we have postponed our weekend retreats.
Please email Clarice Aeby if you would like to be notified about future retreats.

Come Away
Dare to Be Still women's retreats are hosted and led by Clarice Aeby at the Driftwood Shores Resort in Florence, Oregon, where we reserve a private room with a balcony and ocean view just for you.
We begin with a workshop on Saturday morning and enjoy a meal together as Clarice shares biblical insights and personal stories that you can incorporate, or not, into your own private time with the Lord.
Then you'll spend the rest of the weekend in stillness with God, praying, reading, journaling, worshipping... whatever you feel led to do. The retreat ends at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon with a coming back together where you may choose to share what God has spoken to you.
The registration cost of $189 includes your own private room, two meals, and study materials.
CHECK BACK FOR FUTURE RETREAT DATES
Having taken personal retreats with the Lord for decades, in recent years I have taught hundreds of women how to step out of the busy-ness and into the gentle embrace of God. I understand the intimidation many feel to be alone with God and will help remove the barriers for you at your retreat, offering an array of ideas for your quiet time.
I have a passion to lift the sheep to the Shepherd. Like the friends who carried their paralyzed friend on a mat they lowered through the roof to Jesus, I believe lifting – or lowering – women to Jesus is the best thing I can do for them.
I am inspired by the African proverb that says: “If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go long, go together.” For many years I have been privileged
to do both.

This time was so valuable. To sit still, to be quiet, to escape schedule/worry, no demands for my attention. Ahhh! Deep sigh of relief… I feel like I’m all re-filled and my perspective is re-aligned.
God’s strength and security are in the quiet, not the noise. I needed to get out of the
busy-ness of life for a moment to be reminded of His Voice. He was faithful to capture my thoughts and focus my mind.”
